Dear FTS Forum Editor:
Comment: I noticed your article on Titan Corporation“s irradiation of food (Trendsetters, FTS Forum Issue #5, May/June 1999). It was interesting and informative. I would be interested to know if FoodTechSource has ever done an article on the other food sterilization process which uses ozone. The Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) is working to get final FDA approval for ozone as a food additive by Feb. 2001. Cyclopss, Inc. is the company to call to find out more about the use of ozone.
Keep up the good work. I look forward to reading more on this issue in your Forum.
