These general-purpose rotational viscometers allow you to easily measure the viscosity of a wide range of materials. Three ranges are available: low, medium, and high. Use the low-range viscometers for fluids such as vegetable oils, cream, juices, and honey; medium-range viscometers for mayonnaise, molasses, and sour cream; and high-range viscometers for gels, epoxies, and tars.

All models feature 19 speeds. Use the same spindle at different speeds to determine the rheological properties of fluid at different shear rates. A variety of spindle/speed combinations are available to measure any viscosity within the range of the unit; order specialty spindles and other accessories separately.

The LCD shows the selected speed in rpm, selected spindle in SP, viscosity readout in cp or mPas, and percentage (%) of full scale. Screen error message alarm alerts you when viscosity exceeds full scale of selected combination (SP/rpm). Viscometer carries out an auto-test by means of scanning at different speeds with acoustic and visual alarms in case of malfunction. Ultra-sensitive front keyboard ensures input of accurate parameters. Viscometer progressively decreases in speed when stopped to avoid sudden shakes in spindle.
